JobSeeker Income Test Calculator
Calculate how your income affects your JobSeeker payment.
How the Income Test Works
JobSeeker payments are subject to an income test. This means your payment may be reduced based on how much you earn from work or other income sources.
Current Income Test Thresholds (2024)
Fortnightly Income Limits
- $150 - You can earn up to this amount per fortnight without affecting your payment
- Above $150 - Your payment reduces by 50 cents for every dollar earned
- Above $256 - Your payment reduces by 60 cents for every dollar earned
Partner Income Test
If you have a partner, their income may also affect your payment:
- Partner can earn up to $1,165 per fortnight before it affects your payment
- Above this amount, your payment reduces
